The Fine Print
Are you working with a local FBO?
- Option 1: pay out of pocket and submit your receipt or invoice to us for reimbursement up to the amount of the scholarship.
- Option 2: we’ll send payment directly to the flight school/instructor of your choice
Are you working one on one with a CAP flight instructor?
- If you’re using a CAP instructor and plane, please notify us which instructor you’re working with. We’ll internally transfer the money directly to the mission number that your instructor is using to train you.
Have you been accepted to a CAP Flight Academy and want to use the scholarship for that?
- Please notify us what academy you’re accepted to and we’ll work with the academy directly to transfer funding. Please note that if that academy is more than the scholarship you will be required to make up the difference.
