You've completed Basic Encampment and want to learn more about what you can achieve in Civil Air Patrol.  This week will be focused on exciting activities like the Model Rocketry Badge and the NRA Marksmanship Badge.  ATS Cadets also get a first look at leadership as each will serve the role of Flight Sergeant/Commander for the Advanced Training Squadron at least once throughout the week.

We encourage all cadets to complete a Cadet Encampment Assistance Program (CEAP) application.  CEAP opens 1 March and closes 1 May.  If you need more information on CEAP please click here:

Once you have completed registration please download and complete the following forms from the document library on the encampment homepage.  Once they are complete, please email them to  Cadet Programs

You will receive an email notification once we’ve processed your registration. We have also established a Registration Paperwork Report for you to verify what paperwork we’ve received and what we’re still awaiting.  Unfortunately, we cannot update it in real time, but we will have it updated every Friday evening.


You will also need to download these documents from the same document library. Please pay close attention to packing list.  Unless otherwise stated, EVERY item on the packing list is mandatory.  If you are having difficulty locating some of these items, please email please email  Cadet Programs directly. Due to CAPs changing policies on medications, PLEASE only bring medications prescribed by a Dr.  All over the counter medications will be provided by the Academy's Medical Staff if required.

Arrival Date: Saturday, 20 June 

Arrival Time: TBD 

Arrival Uniform: White T-shirt, black shorts with no pockets, white socks, and sneakers.  Hair style should meet Civil Air Patrol Regulations. 

All cadets are required to carry their own baggage into the dorm.  Upon arrival, all cadets must report to the Academy Commander for in-processing and will then undergo a contraband inspection. 


Graduation 

The graduation ceremony is a full pass in review that begins at 10am on the 27th.  There are no bleachers at the graduation field so please bring your own seating.  All spectators should arrive by 9:45am to park and find their seats.  After the ceremony, you will meet your parents and may then return to the barracks to gather your belongings.   To depart, your parents must tap you out.
