The cadet program is a top priority here in Vermont. The future of our program and our nation hinges on what our cadets learn and how they learn it. To succeed, our cadets must have dedicated senior members to coach and mentor our cadets. There is no better way to learn than by doing. Vermont’s Cadet Programs Academy is run in cooperation with the Vermont Wing Encampment so that our students can both learn in the classroom and see firsthand the situations our cadets will face as they progress through the program.
The Cadet Programs Academy includes:
TLC-Basic
TLC-Intermediate
TAC Officer Training
Our in-person experience will teach you about the ins and outs of the cadet program, how to run a cadet program at your home squadron, and how to be a Training Officer (TAC) at an encampment. At the completion of our course, you will have the opportunity to stay and participate in Vermont Wing's Green Mountain Academy and put your newly learned skills to the test.
Your approved registration includes lodging, food, and all training materials.
